Copy all the music and the exported playlist to the new computer. Q: I want to combine multiple tracks into one in iTunes I remember doing this iTunes 11; there was an Options button in the upper right of a playlist. But that button is no longer there in iTunes Is there a way I can do this? Also, does combining tracks affect audio quality? There are valid reasons to combine or join tracks in your iTunes library.
However, you can join tracks when ripping a CD. There is no loss in quality when you join tracks; they are simply ripped as one, with no breaks. You can even join all the tracks of a CD this way. However, if you have already ripped your CD, or have tracks that you downloaded, this option is unavailable.
I write these reviews because carrying the intention to write about them, or anything, carries with it a different lens to the experience - to archive what is notable as memories fade. And I very much enjoy the literal lens when cameras are permitted. Maybe you like the artists covered here or just have an interest in the local scene. See also amusedtolife.
View my complete profile. My Blog List. Consumer Energy Report. Lefsetz Letter. Patrick Rothfuss - Blog. Here's how it works:. On the Details tab, click in the Grouping input field, and enter the name of the last song in the group. Now for the caveats: This probably only works in iTunes on the desktop—I do most of my listening there anyway, so that's fine for me. In addition, and this is probably the biggie, it requires taking over the Group field.
You may have Apple Music or purchases that use the Grouping field—if you don't blank that field for all other tracks, anything sharing a Grouping value will play as one. For example, The Complete U2 apparently uses a Grouping tag, so when it came up in shuffle play, you'd hear it all. I've also read that many people use the Grouping field for sub-genres or other tracking details. As I'd never used it before for anything and I don't own The Complete U2 , this is a perfect use for my needs—thanks, Chris!
I have used for years a program called iSkysoft Video Converter. It converts from almost any mode to any other. I also use it to download videos from the internet. One of its features is combining tracks.
